The water level in the Narayani river in Nawalparasi district has crossed the warning mark following the incessant downpour. Over a dozen VDCs along the river banks have been deluged. The people living along the river banks have started moving to safety after the water level measuring instruments rang the alarm bells. The equipments installed along the bank of Narayani River around Triveni area start ringing after the water level reaches 7.47meter. Around a dozen villages in the vicinity of Triveni would be swept away if the water level crosses 8.4 meter level. The District Administration Office Nawalparasi has called on the people living in scores of settlements from Gaindakot to Tribeni.
