Eleven newborn babies died from smoke inhalation in Baghdad when a fire engulfed a hospital in the Iraqi capital, a local broadcaster has reported, citing a Health Ministry representative.
At least 11 babies died when a fire broke out in the maternity ward of a Baghdad hospital early Wednesday, the Iraqi Health Ministry said.
