students still live with their family, where their mothers take care of their everyday lives. Others may live at off-campus to enjoy new freedom. However, I believe that it is a good idea for all university students to live in a dormitory on campus in the first year. In a dormitory, they can make new friends more easily, they can learn to become independent, and they can spend more time on study.

Firstly, living in a dormitory on campus would enable freshmen to make new friends more easily. Soon after entering university, many freshmen may feel anxious about their new university lives. To find new good friends would be one of the best ways to adapt to life in a new environment. Living in a dormitory would give them many chances to meet new people and make new friends.

Secondly, living in a dormitory on campus would enable freshmen to learn to become independent. In a dormitory, without their family’s help, they have to wake up by themselves, do the laundry for themselves, and take care of their own food and health. Living in a dormitory gives students a good preliminary training to standing on their own feet in the future.

Finally, living in a dormitory on campus would enable freshmen to spend more time on studying. At university, students tend to have very heavy workloads and have to spend a lot of time on their studies. At first, many freshmen may feel some difficulty to manage their time for studying. Living in a dormitory on campus would be more convenient for study. They do not need to waste time commuting. There is a library on campus. If there are some questions, they can easily ask teachers on campus, or other friends in the dormitory.

In conclusion, it is my opinion that for reasons of making friends, learning independence, and spending more time on study, living in a dormitory on campus would be better for all university students in the first year. I believe that it would help freshmen to start new challenging university lives.Nowadays, there has been a long-lasting debate over the effects of being student of university. While some people hold the view that university life, others strongly disagree. There are two sides to this issue.

It is often argued that university life has positive effects being student. One point in favor of living university life grow up our education. To give an example; we can join with a variety of activities.Secondly, if we live university life, we have a lot of friends. The last positive is that, if we go to university, we will earn lots of money in future.

On the other hand, other oppose this view point. They think that the main negative aspect of living university life has lots of problem. Like rent of house or electricity debt.Secondly, if you are a student in big city like Istanbul, you spend a lot of money and if you are studying another city without your family, first year can be hard for you. The final negative thing is living university life can be bored or maybe you can be hard-working student.

To sum up, there are many arguments for and against university life. What i believe is that grow up your education, have a lot of friends and earn lots of money in future. When the reasons mentioned above are taken into consideration, it will be seen that positive sides of living university life outweigh its negative sides
